Bert Hood

Before starting in the Truss Industry, Bert was a carpenter during the off-season of farming.  Bert cut his teeth in the Truss Industry starting a truss plant from ground zero in 1979.  In 1984 he took the plunge and started the family truss business. Bert has a degree from Trident Technical College and he enjoys breeding exotic birds in his spare time.  He and his wife of over 40 years reside in the Moncks Corner area.
